When it’s someone’s birthday there should be two options

1) the loud happy birthdayish singing

2) a subtle distribution of birthday related dessert

That way, people can enjoy free food without you making them feel like an idiot before they eat it when they older and also give little kids the excitement of getting a birthday treat and song.
